Kawabe Dental Clinic, located in Gyoji, Yukuhashi City, Fukuoka Prefecture, is a community-based dental clinic offering dentistry, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. Director Dr. Makihito Kawabe graduated from Fukuoka Dental College, gained experience through oral surgery training and work at multiple dental clinics, and in April 2024 returned to his hometown of Yukuhashi to open the clinic by taking over the practice from his predecessor. One area the clinic places particular emphasis on is thorough informed consent. At the first visit, the patient's oral condition is explained in detail using intraoral photographs and X-ray images, and the policy is to clearly communicate treatment duration, number of visits, and costs in advance. The clinic also focuses on prevention and cleaning, including powder maintenance using EMS Airflow and regular checkups, working toward early detection of cavities and periodontal disease and reduction of associated risks. In terms of equipment, the clinic is equipped with a Class B sterilizer meeting world standards for hygiene management, digital X-rays, a dental laser, and an extraoral vacuum, providing an environment that prioritizes patient safety. A wide range of treatments is available, including cavity treatment, root canal therapy, dentures, implants, clear aligner orthodontics, and teeth whitening, catering to patients from children to seniors.
