Kurokibana ENT Clinic, operated by Medical Corporation Kurokibana, is an otolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat) specialist clinic located in Chikushino City, Fukuoka Prefecture. With over 50 years of history since its establishment in 1970, the clinic was rebuilt in 2004, and the current director took over in 2011. Consultation hours are 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM in the morning and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the afternoon, with Wednesday afternoons, Saturday afternoons, Sundays, and public holidays being closed. Since March 18, 2024, an appointment system has been introduced, accepting reservations by phone, internet, or at the reception desk. Walk-ins are accepted, but appointments are recommended as patients with reservations are given priority. The clinic treats a wide range of symptoms including ear pain and hearing difficulties, runny nose and nasal congestion, sore throat and cough, as well as dizziness. The facility features barrier-free design throughout, including an entrance ramp and wheelchair-accessible restroom, and a kids' room is also available. Parking is provided, and the clinic accepts credit cards and electronic payments. English-language service is available. Since December 2025, the clinic requires patients to present either a My Number Card or Certificate of Eligibility instead of traditional health insurance cards, promoting the use of the digital My Number Health Insurance Card as part of healthcare DX initiatives. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the clinic served as a designated testing and treatment facility for COVID-19. The clinic is known for its efforts to reduce wait times and provide thorough explanations to patients.
