Located a 9-minute walk from Takefu Station, Shuyukai Yamamoto Dental Clinic has been supporting the oral health management of local residents for over 35 years since its establishment in 1981. After reopening in 2020, the clinic has an oral surgeon as its director and offers cavity and periodontal disease treatment, as well as implants, pediatric dentistry, preventive care and cleaning, whitening, ceramic treatment, mouthpiece fabrication, and home visits. Operating hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00-13:00 and 14:00-18:00, and Saturday from 9:00-12:30 and 13:30-16:00. The clinic is closed on Thursdays, Sundays, holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, Golden Week, and Obon. In terms of clinical practice, the clinic was certified as a designated clinical training facility for dentists by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in 2023, accepting trainee doctors as a cooperating facility for the Department of Dentistry and Oral Surgery at University of Fukui Hospital. In terms of equipment, the clinic has installed dental CT and vital monitors, and has introduced the highest level of infection control equipment in the dental industry, including decontamination washers, Class B sterilizers, and extraoral vacuums. A ramp has been installed to allow strollers and wheelchairs to enter directly into the treatment rooms, and a kids' space is also available. Additionally, the clinic offers English support, accepts credit cards and electronic payments, has parking, and is barrier-free.
