Treatment is performed after outpatient examination when deemed necessary, using laser light from a handheld nasal device on the nasal mucosa after anesthesia with gauze soaked in medication. The procedure itself takes less than 5 to 10 minutes for both sides. On the day of treatment, driving, bathing, and light alcohol consumption are not problematic. It is said to be effective for approximately 75% of patients, particularly for nasal congestion. It does not cure the allergic constitution itself, and symptoms may appear when the amount of pollen dispersal is extremely high.
