Kunochi Internal Medicine Clinic is a community-based internal medicine clinic located in Konohana-cho, Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, in front of Matsuyama Higashi High School. Director Dr. Goro Kuno graduated from Tokushima University School of Medicine, completed a research fellowship at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in the United States, and holds a doctorate in medicine. He has served as president of the Matsuyama Medical Association, president of the Ehime Medical Association, and as a director of the Japan Medical Association, contributing to the advancement of regional healthcare over many years. The clinic offers a wide range of treatment for respiratory diseases (asthma, pulmonary emphysema, pneumonia, etc.), lifestyle-related diseases (hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, etc.), gastrointestinal diseases, and allergic conditions, along with dietary and nutritional counseling provided by a registered dietitian. The facility is equipped with a comprehensive in-house testing system including blood biochemistry tests, ultrasound examinations, endoscopy, and pulmonary function tests, with referrals to core hospitals arranged as needed. The clinic actively embraces digital healthcare transformation, having implemented an online eligibility verification system to utilize patients' medical history and medication information. English-speaking staff are available, and the clinic is equipped with a parking lot (including a second parking area) and barrier-free facilities, making it accessible to a wide range of patients.
