Located in Kayamachi 6-chome, Matsuyama City, Matsuyama City Emergency Medical Center is a medical facility specialized in nighttime internal medicine and pediatric emergency care, established and operated by Matsuyama City. With a primary purpose of providing emergency treatment for acute illnesses occurring at night, local and neighboring private practice and employed doctors take turns providing medical care. The medical departments are internal medicine and pediatrics; internal medicine operates from Monday to Saturday, 21:00 to 24:00, and pediatrics operates daily from 21:00 to 8:00 the next morning. The clinic requests appropriate usage for patients requiring urgent care, and advises that patients must visit their primary care physician or a nearby medical facility the day after their visit. Medication is prescribed for one day in principle, and cases of head trauma or severe injuries require consultation at a secondary emergency medical facility. Medical services are provided in a two-story reinforced concrete building, with support for English and Korean. Credit cards and electronic payments are accepted, with parking and barrier-free accommodations available. As infection prevention measures, visitors including accompanying persons are required to wear masks, with one companion allowed maximum. Visitors are requested to cooperate with hand disinfection at the entrance, and individuals suspected of having measles or chickenpox are instructed to contact the clinic in advance before entering the facility directly. Due to the need to prioritize critically ill patients, the order in which patients are called to examination rooms may differ from the order of registration.
