Dr. Yoichi Sato, the clinic director, graduated from Matsumoto Dental University and subsequently pursued advanced training in orthodontic treatment, occlusal therapy, and temporomandibular joint treatment at several universities in the United States. In 1994, he obtained certification from the Japanese Orthodontic Society. Since opening in 1993, the clinic has been providing community-based orthodontic care. A distinctive feature of the clinic is its focus on comprehensive orthodontic treatment starting from childhood. Based on the belief that most malocclusions stem from skeletal disharmony of the jaw and facial structure, the clinic adopts a treatment approach that guides the dental arch into a natural form through appropriate interventions during the growth period from ages 3 to 10. Treatment primarily utilizes removable aligner-type appliances, with various devices selected according to different conditions such as maxillary protrusion, mandibular protrusion, crowding, and open bite, enabling orthodontic care with minimal patient burden. Appointments are by reservation only and can be made by phone or online. The clinic is equipped with parking facilities and accepts credit cards and electronic payments, demonstrating thoughtful attention to patient convenience. English assistance is also available, making it an accessible environment for non-Japanese speakers.
