Located in Midorigaoka, Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, Suda Internal Medicine Clinic opened in 2015. Dr. Norio Suda, the clinic director, graduated from Jikei University School of Medicine and holds a PhD in Medicine. With research experience at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in Germany and Colorado State University in the United States, Dr. Suda possesses deep expertise in both basic and clinical medicine. In addition to Western medicine, the clinic also offers Kampo (Japanese herbal) medicine, enabling a comprehensive approach to symptoms that Western medicine may find difficult to treat. Under the leadership of Dr. Suda, a certified general internist by the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, the clinic focuses on treating lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia. Since March 2023, the clinic has introduced AI for chest X-ray interpretation to reduce missed diagnoses of early lung cancer. The clinic also places strong emphasis on infection control, with multi-layered preventive measures including UV irradiation devices, electrostatic air purifiers, and an outdoor negative-pressure room. In addition to English-language support, the clinic offers parking and barrier-free facilities to meet diverse patient needs. The clinic also provides specific health checkups, various vaccinations, and infant health checkups (all by appointment), functioning as a primary care clinic serving the local community.
