Funabashi Municipal Medical Center is located in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture, and is certified as a Regional Cancer Care Collaboration Base Hospital and a Regional Medical Support Hospital. It houses an Emergency and Critical Care Center and functions as a Disaster Base Hospital, maintaining a comprehensive emergency medical system. The hospital offers a wide range of medical departments. Internal medicine departments include Respiratory Medicine, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Metabolic Medicine, Palliative Care, Medical Oncology, Neurology, Nephrology, Psychiatry, and Rheumatology/Collagen Disease Division. Surgical departments include General Surgery, Gastrointestinal Surgery, Breast Surgery, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Thoracic Surgery, and Cardiovascular Surgery. It also provides Dermatology, Urology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Additionally, Rehabilitation, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Anesthesiology/Intensive Care, and Endoscopy departments are established. Medical support departments including Pharmacy, Radiological Technology, Clinical Laboratory, Nutrition Management, Clinical Engineering, Medical Safety Management, and Infection Control are fully functional. Support is also provided through the Patient Support Center, Cancer Counseling and Support Center, and Palliative Care Center. The hospital accepts English and Korean, and supports credit cards and electronic payments. Parking and barrier-free facilities are available. The hospital is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and from December 29 to January 3.
