Located in Higashidori Village, Shimokita District, Aomori Prefecture, this clinic is an inpatient medical facility specializing in internal medicine, operated by the Shimokita Medical Center Partial Jurisdiction Association. With 19 beds, it serves as the core of a complex facility that integrates with the adjacent Higashidori Village Health and Welfare Center and the long-term care health facility 'Hanashobu.' The clinic provides a comprehensive care system that supports a seamless continuum from home care to outpatient visits, hospitalization, and institutional care. Clinic hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:20 AM to 4:30 PM, and Wednesday and Saturday until 11:30 AM. The facility is closed on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons, as well as Sundays, public holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays. In addition to providing a wide range of services including day care (day service), home-visit care, home-visit nursing and medical care, in-home care support, and the comprehensive community support center, the facility also houses health promotion facilities utilizing Kantaiyama Onsen. Since autumn 2012, the mobile health promotion vehicle 'Genki-desu Car' has been traveling throughout Higashidori Village, creating opportunities for residents to think about their health in familiar settings. With barrier-free design, dedicated parking, and English-language support, the facility provides an environment where users from diverse backgrounds can access medical care with peace of mind. Based on the spirit of community healthcare where administration, residents, and medical professionals work together as one, the facility serves as a community healthcare hub that continuously supports the health and lives of people living on the eastern tip of the Shimokita Peninsula.
