Located in Ajigasawa Town on the west coast of Aomori Prefecture, Tsugaru Seihokugo Wide Area Federation Ajigasawa Hospital has been supporting community healthcare since 1962. As the only public hospital in Aomori Prefecture's west coast region, it serves as an emergency medical center and a remote area base hospital. The hospital offers a wide range of departments including internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, and dentistry (obstetrics and gynecology is currently suspended). With 56 beds, including 19 general beds and 37 community comprehensive care beds specialized for elderly care and rehabilitation, the facility provides a comprehensive care system. In addition to physical and occupational therapy, rehabilitation by speech-language-hearing therapists is available, ensuring comprehensive care that considers post-discharge life. English language services are available, and credit card and electronic payments are accepted, providing a convenient environment for those who prefer various payment methods. An outpatient pharmacy (Ichii Pharmacy Ajigasawa Hospital Branch) is located on-site for smooth prescription pickup.
