Maruya ENT Clinic, located in Matsuba-cho, Kitaakita City, Akita Prefecture, is a community-based ENT specialist clinic. Director Shinichiro Maruya is a specialist who, after graduating from Hirosaki University School of Medicine and conducting graduate research, served as a researcher at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in the United States. Upon returning to Japan, he held positions including lecturer at the Head and Neck Tumor Center of International University of Health and Welfare Mita Hospital and Chief of the Department of Otolaryngology at Aizu Central Hospital. Consultations are held in two-part sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM, with Saturday mornings only from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
