Kato Dental Clinic is a dental clinic in Ematsu, Nakagawa-ku, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture that focuses on the prevention of tooth decay and periodontal disease. Founded by the grandfather and relocated here by the father around 1966, it is now in its third generation and has provided a community-friendly dental clinic for about 100 years in the Nakagawa area. The director graduated from the School of Dentistry at Aichi Gakuin University in 1990, then conducted fluoride research and served as a lecturer at the same university before becoming the third-generation director in 2004. The clinic primarily offers general dentistry and pediatric dentistry, not only treating tooth decay and periodontal disease but also supporting patients to take initiative in preventing recurrence. Patients are encouraged to bring their own toothbrushes, and guidance is provided on practical self-care methods. The clinic implements thorough sterilization and disinfection of instruments for infection prevention and uses suction devices to prevent fine dust generated during drilling from scattering, with careful attention to hygiene management. The clinic also features English support, parking facilities, and barrier-free accessibility.
