The Shinseikai Affiliated Clinic, a social welfare corporation located in Yahatazan, Tenpaku Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, is one of the few dialysis-specialized clinics in Japan, attached to the disability support facility "Ashita no Oka." Primarily serving inpatient dialysis patients residing at the facility as well as outpatient dialysis patients, the clinic operates under an internal medicine designation while maintaining a medical system fully dedicated to hemodialysis treatment. Regular monitoring is conducted to continuously assess patient condition, including blood tests twice monthly, monthly chest X-rays to measure the cardiothoracic ratio, and electrocardiograms for early detection of cardiac disease. Annual screening examinations are also performed, encompassing upper and lower abdominal CT scans, cardiac ultrasound, and bone density measurements, with comprehensive care for the various complications associated with dialysis provided through multidisciplinary collaboration. Monthly nutritional counseling by a registered dietitian ensures dietary support for patients as well. A defining characteristic of the clinic is its focus on holistic patient health management through close coordination with group facilities centered on Shinseikai Daiichi Hospital. English-language services are available, and the facility is equipped with parking and barrier-free accommodations.
