Kojima Internal Medicine Clinic is a community-based medical practice located in Hoshine, Minato-ku, Nagoya, approximately a 15-minute walk from Inagawa Station on the Aonami Line. The clinic offers internal medicine as its core specialty, along with gastroenterology and pediatrics, welcoming patients across a wide range of age groups. Director Dr. Yoji Kojima trained at the Second Department of Internal Medicine at Nagoya University (now the Department of Pathophysiology and Gastroenterology/Gastroenterological Medicine) and has built a career specializing in gastrointestinal diseases. The clinic performs upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) as well as abdominal ultrasound, and is well-equipped to diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of digestive conditions including gastritis, colonic polyps, and liver diseases. Influenza vaccinations and general health check-ups are also available. The clinic operates on a walk-in basis rather than an appointment system—patients simply present their medical card and wait their turn, making it easy to visit without advance planning. The facility features barrier-free design with ramps and a wide entrance, and staff are experienced in accommodating patients who use wheelchairs. English communication support is available, making it a welcoming environment for those who need assistance in languages other than Japanese. Consultation hours are 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with Wednesday and Saturday limited to morning hours only.
