Located within "Kurashi no Center" in Atsuta Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, Clinic Rainbow has been operating as an internal medicine clinic providing comprehensive support for the daily lives of local elderly people since its establishment in 1995. In terms of medical care, the clinic focuses on general internal medicine and also provides pediatric care for children excluding infants, with special features including being "an elderly-friendly clinic" and "a clinic capable of handling dementia." The painless transnasal gastroscopy has been implemented for over a decade, and abdominal ultrasound examinations cover the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, kidneys, abdominal aortic aneurysms, and more. Since May 2018, the clinic has been offering a "Memory Clinic" on the morning of the fourth Tuesday of each month, and holds "Dementia Café" on the second Tuesday of each month. This café, where anyone can participate freely without reservation—including those worried about dementia and those already living with dementia—provides an opportunity for deepening connections. On the second floor, the clinic coordinates with visiting nursing and home care services to provide better medical care and nursing/care. The third floor serves as a Kidney Center, supporting patients undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. The fourth floor functions as a space for elderly interaction, with the "Genki Up Exercise" led by physical therapists conducted for about one hour from 11 AM on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Supported by the dedicated activities of the volunteer organization "Agape," on Mondays and Thursdays, exercise participants interact with peers through handicrafts, painting, and conversation. The clinic features English language support, parking availability, and barrier-free accessibility, with distinctive community-based service offerings through the dementia café and home medical care.
