Nehashi Neurosurgery, located in Hitomen, Meito Ward, Nagoya City, is a reservation-based clinic specializing in neurology. The director, Dr. Kyoko Nehashi, graduated from Nagoya University School of Medicine in 1982 and accumulated 28 years of experience in neurosurgery at university hospitals and core hospitals in Aichi and Gifu prefectures, including Nagoya University Hospital, Ogaki Municipal Hospital, Toyohashi Municipal Hospital, and Kōritsu Tōshō Hospital, before opening this clinic in May 2000. She holds certifications as a specialist from the Japan Neurosurgical Society and as a designated physician for intractable diseases in Aichi Prefecture, providing diagnosis and treatment backed by extensive clinical experience. The clinic offers CT scans with same-day results and can arrange MRI examinations at other facilities when necessary. It is characterized by its ability to consult on a wide range of brain and neurological symptoms, including headaches, facial pain, numbness or tremors in the hands and feet, dizziness, lightheadedness, and speech difficulties. The clinic has established a referral system with local hospitals, facilitating appropriate medical transfers according to the stage of treatment. Consultation hours are from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the morning and 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM in the afternoon, with closures on Sundays, holidays, Golden Week, Obon, and the New Year period.
