Located in an open setting adjacent to a park in Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture, Momokaidai Dental Clinic No. 2 is a medical facility providing dental care. Surrounded by the park's greenery, the clinic offers treatments in a bright and open environment. The facility features a specialized center comprising an operating room, CT room, IV recovery room, periodontal prevention room, and a rest room. The operating room is equipped with sterilization equipment and large lighting systems to maintain a sterile environment. During surgery, patient monitoring systems are in place to continuously measure ECG, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation. In terms of diagnostic equipment, the clinic has installed two high-sensitivity digital CT units with radiation exposure only one-tenth that of conventional CT scanners, making it the first in Japan to maintain two such units. The clinic handles cases including orthodontics, wisdom tooth extraction, periapical lesions, implants, and tooth fractures, providing explanations using 3D images based on three-dimensional data. Additionally, the clinic employs low-radiation dental-specific CT units, with only three such units installed across the three Tokai prefectures. For medical safety management, the clinic strives to provide a safe and secure dental healthcare environment through measures such as hospital infection control, formulation of guidelines for medication procedures, and regular staff training.
