Adachi Hospital, operated by Kasugai General Incorporated Foundation, is a long-term medical care hospital located on Wakakusa-dori in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture, approximately a 7-minute walk from the north exit of Katsukawa Station on the JR Chuo Main Line. Established in 1928 and approaching its centennial, the hospital continues to support community healthcare under the philosophy of 'contributing to the community across centuries with the spirit of once-in-a-lifetime encounters.' The hospital offers internal medicine (respiratory, cardiovascular, and gastroenterology), orthopedics, rheumatology, and rehabilitation departments. In addition to outpatient services, it has 60 long-term medical care beds, accepting patients with chronic conditions and those requiring continued medical care after acute treatment. Outpatient hours are 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with internal medicine and rehabilitation starting at 2:00 PM on Thursdays and Fridays. The hospital is closed on Sundays, holidays, and Saturday afternoons. A new hospital building was completed at the end of 2024, providing healthcare in a more comfortable environment. The hospital also offers various health screenings (Kasugai City specific health checkups, late-stage elderly health checkups, cancer screenings, pre-employment checkups) and vaccinations including shingles and pneumococcal vaccines. English assistance is available, and 23 parking spaces are provided at the front entrance.
